From the lush meadows of its countryside to the cobblestone streets of its cities, there is something to delight the senses everywhere we turn in Ireland. So journey with us to Emerald Crossing: An Irish Adventure Through Psalm 23. Every stop along our path will teach us about the Good Shepherd and how he cares for his sheep. Like David discovered throughout his life, first as a shepherd and later as a king, we’ll discover important truths such as:
• I can be a child of God and have the Lord as my shepherd.
• I need the Lord to lead me on the right path through his Word.
• I can turn to the Lord for comfort when I’m feeling anxious or afraid.
• I can have an attitude of gratitude in every situation.
• I need to be on the lookout for God’s goodness and mercy, my traveling companions through life.
Beauty and adventure await us each day, so get ready and join us for a grand ol’ time at Emerald Crossing!
Volunteer registration for our faith family and student registration is now open!
Here are all the details:
- Begins SUNDAY, July 12th
- Ends Thursday, July 16th
- Program starts at 6:00pm and ends at 8:30pm each evening (Thurs dismissal @ 8pm)
- Doors open for check-in at 5:45pm
- Children ages 4 through completed 5th grade are welcome to attend
- Memory Verses: Students will be learning and memorizing Psalm 23

- Theme Nights: Mon-Green Out | Tues-Sheep/Shepherd | Wed-Missions Mania | Thurs-Team Colors & Family Night
- On Thursday families are invited to join us for the closing assembly at 7:30pm, followed by dismissal at 8:00pm and light refreshments for all!
- Missions Project: We are partnering with UNTO to fund a new water well in Gambia for our VBS mission project. The well will be drilled at an already established ministry called "The Heart House" (a Christian home for children considered invalids by their parents and the community). It will provide the home with much needed drinkable water, and also will allow the home to irrigate the garden, which in turn provides food for the children. Not only will the well provide the Heart House Home and its children with safe, clean water, but it will also impact the community by providing access to much needed drinkable water, and will provide opportunities to share the love of Christ and the gospel message. Total Cost: $7,977
